Rittenhouse Row Festival party solves a Sixers game conflict
Tuesday's game will be shown on a big screen during the party at the Bellevue.

Rittenhouse Row, which promotes the businesses in the Rittenhouse Square area, had a dilemma: How to get people to attend its Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival preview party on May 7 at the Bellevue, as the Sixers are playing Game 5 of their NBA playoffs series against the Toronto Raptors at the same time.
RittRow struck an agreement with the NBA to allow the game to be screened, and it will be shown in its entirety on a big screen. The party, which starts at 7 p.m., an hour before tip-off, will end after the final buzzer.
The party is an indoors preview to the May 18 event that takes over Walnut Street west of Broad to Rittenhouse Square.
Food and beverages will be provided by a.bar, a.kitchen, Alma de Cuba, Aurora Grace, Bar Bombon, Ben & Jerry’s, Branzino, Butcher and Singer, Caffe Vienna’s, The Continental Mid-town, D’Angelo’s Ristorante Italiano and Lounge, Davio’s, Devon, El Rey, Di Bruno Bros., K’Far, Marathon Grill, Melograno, Metropolitan Pizza & Café, Mission Taqueria, Parc, Spice Finch, SuGa, Termini Bros. Bakery, Tinto, Twenty Manning Grill, Village Whiskey, XIX and more.
Also, pastry chef Camille Cogswell will serve chocolate rugelach as a taste of the Israeli cafe K’Far, set to open this summer at the new Harper building on 19th Street near Sansom. Steven McAllister, beverage manager at sister restaurant Abe Fisher, will pour a sampling of K’Far cocktails.
Tickets are $75 per person for general admission, $150 for patron tickets. Those who purchase patron tickets receive access to the VIP area at the festival, which offers snacks and cocktails from noon to 5 p.m. Ticket info is here.
