Footage from a security camera shows a gunman firing into a crowd of people standing outside a sports bar in Philadelphia’s Fishtown section Friday night, where seven people were shot, police said.

The seven wounded remained hospitalized Saturday, four in critical condition, after the 8 p.m. shooting outside Golf & Social on the 1000 block of North Delaware Avenue, according to police.

Officers responding to the scene found two victims inside the sports bar and two at a nearby 7-Eleven. Police said they were taken to Episcopal and Temple University Hospitals. A little later, three additional gunshot victims arrived at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital by private car, according to police.

The seven victims, all males, include two 17-year-olds, an 18-year-old, two 21-year-olds, a 23-year-old, and a 42-year-old, police said.

Additional video located by investigators shows several people around a white SUV and a white sedan parked in the nearby Rivers Casino lot before leaving in a gray sedan, police said. Two semiautomatic handguns were found in the SUV, and the white sedan had been reported stolen, according to police.

Both vehicles were towed for further analysis.

No arrests were reported. Police said 21 casings and several “projectiles” were found on Delaware Avenue, and evidence of bloodshed was found inside Golf & Social and the 7-Eleven.

The operators of Golf & Social describe the business on its Facebook page as a sports bar with golf simulators.

It is the second consecutive weekend in Philadelphia marred by a shooting with multiple victims. Early last Saturday, one person was killed and five others injured in a shooting during an after-hours party inside a catering facility in the city’s Nicetown section.

They continue a disturbing trend that follows a dramatic spike in shootings in Philadelphia last year. Less than three months into 2021, more than 400 people have been shot in the city.
