Planners to review Dilworth Plaza redesign, hotel proposals

The Philadelphia planning commission meets at 1 pm, upstairs at 1515 Arch St., to swear in new members and review, for example:
- A redesign for Dilworth Plaza, to be presented by Paul Levy of the Center City District - Tower Investments' (Bart Blatstein's) Poplar Hotel proposal for 828 N. 2d St. (near the old Schmidt's) - New zoning for the former State Office Building site, Broad and Spring Garden, where Blatstein hoped to put apartments and stores - Zoning case for the Boyd Theater/Monaco Hotel proposal, 1910 Chestnut And proposals for Roxborough, Northern Liberties and other neighborhoods.
