Nick Eubanks, who spent five years as digital strategy chief at traffic-cone and highway-barricade supplier The Traffic Safety Store, West Chester, says his digital brand agency, I'm From The Future (IFTF), has acquired two other agencies: Jeff Gibbard's seven-person (full- and part-time), Philadelphia-based True Voice Media (TVM) on Jan. 10, and Miami-based Ryan Stewart's six-person Webris on Jan. 12.

Adding the two founders boosted IFTF's full-time headcount to 22, plus "students and part-timers," says Matt Schickling, senior content strategist. He said TVM revenues at the time of acquisition were "approaching $1 million," a fraction of IFTF sales. Webris' revenues weren't disclosed by the acquirer.

The firms design and build websites and social media content strategies to boost brand visibility and sales, including search-engine optimization (SEO). IFTF says its clients include Caribbean tourism operator Sandals Resorts and its Beaches Resorts group, internet-of-things provider Pwnie Express, shoe retailer KicksUSA, and bill-payment automation provider AvidXchange, among others. TVM Voice says it helped launch online mattress retailer Nuvanna, including its Facebook ad funnel, and has advised CM&F Group, a medical malpractice insurer, since 2015.

The deals "will allow IFTF to implement these services into what we already do, which, generally, is improving technical SEO strategy, design, user experience, conversion rate, and content on brand and business websites," Eubanks, a St. Joseph's U grad, said in a statement. Eubanks owns IFTF with chief technology officer Vincent Stout and chief operating officer T.R. Dougherty.

TVM's Gibbard joins IFTF as chief social strategist, while Webris' Stewart was named chief automation officer. The firm expects to keep adding people, said Schickling.
