Report: Donovan McNabb sentenced to jail time for second DUI

Former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb has been sentenced to 18 days in jail after pleading guilty to extreme DUI back in June.

Donovan McNabb is going to jail. Again.

According to a report from TMZ Sports, the former Eagles quarterback has been sentenced to 18 days in jail after pleading guilty to extreme DUI back in June.

After McNabb crashed into a car at a stoplight, police said he had a blood alcohol level of .17, more than double the legal limit of .08.

"While Donovan spoke, I noticed a strong, fruity odor on his breath. I noticed Donovan's eyes were watery and very bloodshot and his speech was slurred," an officer at the scene wrote in the police report, according to ESPN.

McNabb reportedly told police that he wasn't drunk, and that the suspicious scent on his breath was from cold medicine he took before the crash.

According to the TMZ Sports report, after serving his jail time, McNabb will spend 72 days in home detention, be forced to complete 30 hours of community service and pay a $6,342.23 fine.

It will be the second time McNabb will be forced to serve jail time. Back in 2013, McNabb was convicted of DUI and was sentenced to one day in jail.
