Eagles-Cowboys flexed to Sunday night next week
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Eagles will have their game flexed to Sunday night for the second straight week.
Cowboys-Eagles will be flexed to prime time next Sunday night, per NFL official.
After the Dallas Cowboys won their game against the Washington Redskins on Sunday, they ensured that the Eagles-Cowboys game Week 17 would essentially be an NFC East Championship Game.
This was a no-brainer. The Cowboys are the most popular (and possibly also the most hated) football team on the planet, and the Philadelphia market is no slouch in its own right. NBC will get huge ratings for this game, if indeed Schefter's report is accurate.
The Eagles last won the NFC East in 2010. They'll have the chance to do so again this year, possibly in front of an enormous audience.
Update: It's official.
