So long Spanx! Project Gravitas pop-up shop in Philly

Project Gravitas will be hosting a one-day-only pop-up shop on Thursday, June 5 at the ICON luxury apartments on 1616 Walnut Street from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.

It's getting warmer and although you may still want to look Kim Kardashian flawless under that fitted dress, just the idea of wearing an added layer of Spanx makes you want to burst into a sweat.

Project Gravitas recognized the need for a smooth physique without the added layers and created a line of dresses with a "shape-wear infused interior." The result is a smooth, seamless look in only one step.

Though the products are not sold in stores, Project Gravitas will be hosting a one-day-only pop-up shop on Thursday, June 5 at the ICON luxury apartments on 1616 Walnut Street. From 11 a.m. until 7 p.m., shoppers can enjoy a personalized fitting session, meet the Project Gravitas founder and CEO, Lisa Sun, and learn the story behind the product.

Skirts and dresses start at $175 and top out at $450. A portion of every purchase from this pop-up shop will be donated to the Philadelphia chapter of Dress for Success, an organization that provides economically disadvantaged women with professional clothing, mentorship and career development tools.
