Sarah Chang, 36, the Philly-born violinist who began her international career with a solo gig with the Philadelphia Orchestra, was robbed of money and valuables worth about $12,000 on a flight Tuesday from Philly to Moscow via London. Her suitcase was broken into without her knowledge. In Moscow for a gig, she tweeted she's fine and thanked everyone for their concern.

Sarah has been on the classical scene a long time. She came up very young — one hesitates to use the term child prodigy, but she was pretty young.
