L'Angolo is one of those quiet, respectable South Philly BYOB mainstays - never a trendy spot, more of an insider's destination near Broad and Porter Streets.

After 13 years of listening to customers ask for lunch, Kathryn and Davide Faenza have pulled the trigger.

It's available now Tuesday to Friday.

Soups and salads lead to pasta ($10) entrees, chicken ($11) entrees, and the priciest dish, tilapia ($12). Menu is here.

There's still no lunch at their other restaurant, Salento, at 2216 Walnut St.
