Visitors to Vancouver during the Olympics couldn't stop talking about the Japadog -- that Pacific Northwest fusion of American frank and Asian toppings,.
The Blue Pear Bistro in West Chester, the casual sibling of the Dilworthtown Inn, is doing them:
For $5, you get a grilled beef hot dog, topped with homemade wasabi mayonnaise, homemade teriyaki, char-grilled napa cabbage, razor-cut radishes, nori and thin-cut grilled scallion. It's served on a lightweight hot dog roll.
Homemade ginger remoulade dipping sauce is optional.
Suggested drinks: Sapora beer or a chilled reisling.
