Circles Thai's location at 429 South St. has closed.
The restaurant's Facebook says the shutdown is temporary, but my real estate sources contend that the space will hit the market. Circles' website does not acknowledge the South Street location, which opened in 2014 under Circles chef/owner Alex Boonphaya as a Mexican-Thai hybrid called Tuk Tuk Real.
At any rate, Circles' other locations - Northern Liberties, South Philadelphia, and Collingswood - are unaffected, per Facebook.
