Delicias food truck adding a restaurant

Lynette Gueits Sutton says she's aiming at Nov. 23 for the soft-opening of Delicias at 526 S. Fourth St., which a decade ago was Django.

Delicias - the popular Latin-theme, West Philly food trucks run by arepa queen Lynette Gueits Sutton - are getting a brick-and-mortar counterpart near South Street.

Sutton says she's aiming at Nov. 23 for the soft-opening of Delicias at 526 S. Fourth St., which a decade ago was Django.

Menu will be similar to the Latin fare offered on the trucks, though Sutton plans to add seafood and meat entrees.

It will be BYOB, and Sutton promises tasty mixers for sale.

She'll serve dinner Tuesday through Friday, and brunch and dinner Saturday and Sunday.

Meanwhile, both trucks are off the street for now during the transition. As she ramps up staffing, she is looking for a manager to run one of the trucks.
