Elixr opening cafe and coffee roastery

Elixr, the small-batch coffee company that has been roasting out of Fishtown since 2010, is building its own roastery, pairing it with a cafe.

I'll spill the beans on the location: It will be next door to Brick & Mortar, in the Goldtex Building at 12th and Wood Streets, north of Vine.

Owner Evan Inatome, who also operates an Elixr cafe on Sydenham Street (near 15th and Walnut) as well as the coffee bar at Double Knot on 13th Street near Sansom, said the new shop was three to four months away.

He posted a photo of the space, without disclosing the location.
