Flight Market: Eagles and Food Trust team up with food trucks

It's a family friendly version of Night Market, to be held April 19 at Lincoln Financial Field.

You've heard of Night Market - in which the Food Trust gathers food trucks in a particular neighborhood for an evening of cheap eats and drinks plus socialization.

The Eagles and the Food Trust are hosting a variation called Flight Market - that's "Flight" as in, "Fly, Eagles, fly" (get it?) - at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, April 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. rain or shine.

The outdoor, family-friendly festival will gather 50-plus trucks for pay-as-you-go feasting and music, activities for kids, a flea market, field tours, and appearances by Swoop and unspecified Eagles at the HeadHouse Plaza and parking lot K.

Tickets are $12 through March 31 and increase to $15 on April 1; it's free for those under age 10.

March ticket-buyers (here's the link) will also be automatically entered into a contest to win two passes to the Eagles season opene; lunch for two at Eagles tight end Brent Celek's food truck, Prime Stache; and an autographed Celek football.

So we know Celek's job is safe.

Right, Chip?
