Free meatball sandwiches at Dobbs
The South Street club's chef's order got messed up.
Due to what the chef calls an ordering mistake, the Legendary Dobbs (304 South St.) will give away Sweet & Sour Meatball Parmesan sandwiches tonight from 7 to 10, or until the 50 pounds of meatballs run out.
Chef Edwin Ramirez says he mistakenly ordered more than a week's worth of ground beef from his supplier yesterday, so he decided to give away the sandwiches away tonight because he refuses to freeze his ground beef.
The giveaway will take place on Dobbs' second floor, where there is no cover charge this evening.
