Garage North: Fishtown tunes up with an auto-themed corner bar

It's also across the intersection from Johnny Brenda's, Joe's Steaks, and Root, and near the Fillmore, Barcade, Fette Sau, and Frankford Hall.

The original Garage has no kitchen - just a food cart staffed by a rotating cast of chefs - but North has a full kitchen whose service area resembles a food cart, complete with lift-up door. The chefs also will vary.
Evenchik scoured flea markets and swap meets for automotive items. Over the cart, the front end of an old Ford Prefect juts out. There's also a Triumph TR5 Trophy motorcycle hanging overhead.
Hours: 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. weekdays, noon to 2 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
