David Ralic's nearly two-year seafood run at 117-119 South St. will end shortly.
Today, he announced the closing of Headhouse Crab & Oyster Co. "in the coming weeks."
The spot - previously Tori's Brickhouse - opened in late 2012 as Ralic's on South. A few months after, Ralic rebranded as Headhouse Crab & Oyster Company, bringing in Mike Stollenwerk (ex-Fish) as chef.
"Our landlord has different visions for the building we occupy and after much thought we decided not to renew our lease while the changes take place," Ralic said in an email, which adds that he hopes to find a new location nearby.
"We have a great staff that will be looking for work in the coming weeks; should any restaurants be hiring, please send us an email at info@headhousecrabandoyster.com."
In brighter news: Ralic is discounting the entire liquor and beer menu by 50 percent, while supplies last.
