Honeygrow to join King of Prussia Town Center project
It will join Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar, Fogo de Chao (the Brazilian steakhouse), and Old Town Pour House (a tavern).
Honeygrow, the fast-growing, homegrown quick-serve specialist, has signed on for a corner space at the massive King of Prussia Town Center, now under construction next to the Wegmans.
Honeygrow will join a few out-of-town brands, including Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar, Fogo de Chao (the Brazilian steakhouse), and Old Town Pour House (a tavern).
Opening is expected in late 2016.
Tom Sebastian, a senior vice president with the developer, JBG Retail, said he was looking for smaller local restaurants for the center, perched near the busy crossroads of Route 202, the Schuylkill Expressway and Pennsylvania Turnpike.
He said King of Prussia Town Center and the sprawling nearby mall will be "very different. The mall is a monthly shopping destination. We're bulding a lifestyle center. Our project really is a complement to the mall."
The Town Center, positioned next to a residential development, will have 17 streets of shopping as well as a "main street" feel that will allow for music performances, free yoga, and outdoor movie nights.
