Le Pain Quotidien adding shops in Wayne, Franklintown

The Granary and Wayne are on the way.

No time for loafing at Le Pain Quotidien.

The Brussels-bred, New York boulangerie chain - which landed in Philly with locations near Rittenhouse (2011) and at Eighth and Walnut (our name is our address, 2012) - is getting close to opening two more units in the area.

A company rep says "later this month" for a location at the Granary in Franklintown (19th and Callowhill Streets, near Pizzeria Vetri) and "about a month later" for a spot on the Main Line.

The new LPQ - represented locally by Michael Salove Co. - will replace Cosi at 233 E. Lancaster Ave. in Wayne with a freestanding location.
