Lisa Paige to leave Q102

The afternoon personality has a new opportunity. And speaking of Q102, can you believe what's happened to Chris Booker?

Afternoon personality Lisa Paige gave notice to Q102 after six-plus years. She will be out of there at the end of the week.

Though her departure is voluntary, Q102 has had less use for its daytime personalities since it brought in the syndicated Ryan Seacrest from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Two months ago, the station shrank the shifts of Paige, Joey Brooks and Jessie Jordan.

Check out Tuesday's INQlings column for her likely destination and for word of further shakeups at the station.

Meanwhile, Chris Booker, sacked by Q102 last May, lost his show at K-Rock in New York after only two months. The station announced Monday that 92.3 will become "Now FM," a top-40 station much like Q102.

The last song Booker played was "Do You Remember Rock N Roll Radio?" by the Ramones. Booker has been collecting a check from Q102 to satisfy his old contract (the paydays run out in May), and now it looks as if he'll collect a second check to do nothing. His one-year CBS deal expires in January.
