New Habana: Cuban BYOB opens in Narberth
Four friends are behind New Habana, whose cuisine and menu were nailed down during a trip to Cuba.
Narberth has a new Cuban/Latin BYOB, as New Habana has opened in the ever-changing restaurant space that previously housed Carmine's Creole Cafe Act II. (Chef/owner John Mims said he closed to prep for a new New Orleans-style restaurant on North Broad Street.)
Four friends are behind New Habana, whose cuisine and menu were nailed down during a trip to Cuba, said Dennis Rowan, the operating partner. Atmosphere is quaint and old world, much like Carmine's.
Opening menu features dinner entrees under $19.
It's open for lunch and dinner daily as they figure out demand.
