New concept at Kokopelli, chef at Talula's Table

The Rittenhouse yearling's second-floor lounge is being rebranded.

Changes are coming to Kokopelli, the yearling at 1904 Chestnut St. As HughE Dillon reports at PhillyChitChat, the second-floor lounge is being rebranded as Kiva and will grand-open tonight (July 8). The ground-floor restaurant will open Aug. 1, maintaining its Southwestern cuisine but changing from small plates to a three-course menu.

The kitchen at Talula's Table in Kennett Square has a personnel change: Chef Matt Moon, who took over the kitchen from Bryan Sikora, is leaving. Owner Aimee Olexy is bringing in Chris D'Ambro, sous chef at her newer hit Talula's Garden, as exec chef. In a true example of what a small town this is, D'Ambro's brother Joe did construction work on Talula's Table. Moon has not divulged his next step.
