New morning meteorologist for CBS3
Kate Bilo fills the Maria LaRosa chair.
CBS3 has hired a morning meteorologist, filling the slot vacated by Maria LaRosa (now at the Weather Channel) and later by Doug Kammerer (now at the NBC station in D.C.).
She's Kate Bilo (say it "buy-low"), who starts the week of Oct. 4.
Bilo grew up in Phoenixville and has worked in State College for AccuWeather since 2004, the year after she graduated from Penn State with a degree in Spanish. You've probably seen her on Bloomberg, an AccuWeather client. She has a husband (Scott Eby, a software engineer) and a 14-month old son (Leo).
