P.J. Whelihan's opens in Oaks
The bar has 48 taps, of which half are domestic crafts and half are imports.
South Jersey-based sports bar chain P.J. Whelihan's opens its 14th location in the region on Monday, Dec. 19 in Oaks, Montgomery County, as it takes over a shuttered Max & Erma's at the Marketplace at Oaks, near the Target store.
Even as this Whelihan's is buttoned up for its grand opening, work proceeds on an extension that will create an enclosed, year-round patio that should be ready by spring. The current iteration only has seating for 275 people.
The bar has 48 taps, of which half are domestic crafts and half are imports.
Besides P.J. Whelihan's, the group also owns the Pour House and the South Jersey restaurants Treno and ChopHouse.
