Five months after it was shut down over back taxes, the Philadium Tavern at 1631 Packer Ave. near the sports complex in South Philadelphia is coming back.
Reopening is set for the evening of Thursday, Sept. 3.
It will be pretty much the same, say staffers, who put the downtime to good use, cleaning it up, repainting, and removing the Christmas decorations.
