Pure Tacos calls it a wrap
The Chestnut Street yearlings announces its closure.
Three years ago, Manhattan lawyer Ted Schroeder opened Pure Tacos - specializing in healthful, gluten-free fare - in Ocean City. The seasonal enterprise won all kinds of praise.
Last July, Pure Tacos opened at 1935 Chestnut St. in Rittenhouse.
Now, both are gone.

We unfortunately have to bring you some very difficult news. Pure Tacos Philadelphia will be permanently closing on Tuesday, May 7th and Pure Tacos Ocean City will not be reopening for its 4th season. We want to thank you for all your patronage and support, especially our followers in the gluten-free community. It has been a pleasure serving you and we will miss your love of Pure Tacos.
