Restaurant notes: Meme drops corkage; a Five Guys preps for opening

  1. Chef David Katz, whose Meme at 22d and Spruce Streets has a modest wine and beer list, is making it even cheaper/easier for BYOers. He has done away with the $10 corkage fee.

  2. Five Guys says its location in Plymouth Square at Butler and Ridge Pikes, in the Conshohocken area, will open Dec. 14*.

  3. And down the road, Conshyians/Conshohockites have noted the closing of Boccella's. As described on MoreThantheCurve.com, the next door neighbor, On a Roll, will expand into that space. The name will become Conshohocken Cafe.
