The opening of Fathom, the seafooder from Mike Stollenwerk and crew at 200 E. Girard Ave. in Fishtown, now awaits a Dec. 22 zoning hearing. Meanwhile, Stollenwerk has a Dec. 31 opening planned for his revived Little Fish at Sixth and Fitzwater Streets, previously Salt & Pepper.
Parx East in Bensalem, opening Dec. 22, will have a noodle shop from Sang Kee.
Sweetgreen, an environmentally friendly salad and frozen yogurt shop out of D.C., trumpets its first Philly area opening on Dec. 15 in Ardmore's Suburban Square (68 Coulter Ave.). Sweetgreen works with the FairFood organization on local sourcing of ingredients, and has installed solar panels on its roof. The chain's young founders are offering offer free yoga classes at Jai!
