Sabrina's in Italian Market cuts out dinner
Space to be used for private functions.
The Italian Market is losing one of its better moderate-price dinner options over the last 12 years.
Friday, April 19 will be the last night for dinner at the flagship Sabrina's Cafe (910 Christian St.), as the owners want to use the space for nighttime private parties and catering.
Lest anyone read into this otherwise, Sabrina's is not closing. It will remain open for breakfast and brunch, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday and Monday, 8 a.m. tlo 5 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday.
The other two locations - Sabrina's Cafe & Spencer's Too (1804 Callowhill St.) and Sabrina's Cafe @ Powelton (34th & Powelton) - will continue dinner service.
