Chip Roman says The Treemont, his restaurant in the Aria building at 15th and Locust Streets, is closed temporarily while he adjusts the concept.

Roman, who opened there in April 2014, said he wanted to take advantage of the typical summer-in-the-city slowdown to address other issues, as well, including staffing and tile repairs.

The Treemont is now free of the longtime street congestion created by the construction of the building just up the block that houses the Cheesecake Factory, which opened two weeks ago.

Roman, whose holdings include Chestnut Hill's Mica and Conshohocken's Blackfish, said the restaurant will reopen in about 10 days.
