Uber trip data over the last year were sliced and diced to find the most popular pickup spots between 4 p.m. and 5 a.m. It lists the top 10 here.
Three of them - first-place El Vez, second-place Frankford Hall, and eighth-place Continental Mid-town - happen to be Starr restaurants.
Seventh-place World Cafe Live and ninth-place Union Transfer are music venues. Fifth-place Bing Bing Dim Sum on East Passyunk is an outlier - more restaurant than bar.
The list, by the way, is by no means an indication of the most popular nightspots in the city because it's denoting the pickup locations, not including every stop its customers make.
