Walnut Room to close
New concept coming to the club above Alfa on Walnut St.
New Year's Eve will be the finale of The Walnut Room, the small club over Alfa American Tavern at 1709 Walnut St.
It's ending a nearly eight-year run - an eternity in nightclub time.
Joe Beckham and Giancarlo DiPasquale say they're doing a rebranding that will include dance club.
Alfa will remain.
