What's new for Center City District Restaurant Week

New restaurants are Center City's Fine Palate, Old City's The Little Lion, and two big names from the Vetri orbit: Amis in Washington Square West and Osteria in Spring Garden.

Thinking ahead a bit:

The Center City District has set the dates for the January 2017 edition of its restaurant week - actually two weeks: Jan. 22-27 and Jan. 29-Feb. 3.

This time, the CCD has wrangled 120 restaurants to offer 35 dinners, with 50 of those offering $20 lunch specials.

Among the new restaurants are Center City's 24 Wood Fired Fare (the new Jose Garces spot at 24th and Walnut), Baril (the French wine bar on 19th Street, off Rittenhouse Square) and Fine Palate (the bistro at 15th and Locust), Old City's The Little Lion (Third and Chestnut), and two big names from the Vetri orbit: Amis in Washington Square West and Osteria in Spring Garden.

The reservation book is open.
