NoBL in Lansdowne shutting down

Stephen Wagner took to the web to announce the closing.

NoBL, a BYOB sibling of Sycamore in Lansdowne, will call it quits after dinner Saturday, May 11.

Quick history: Opened in June 2012, closed for a "reboot" in November, around the time of the departure of Sycamore chef Sam Jacobson, and reopened with a less-ambitious mezze menu in December.

On its website, owner Stephen Wagner writes:

5/7/13: Well, this is it. We're closing this Saturday, so come and get it while you can. We had lots of fun serving you all, but alas, can't keep it going.

This week though, there's plenty of reason to come out:.

Wednesday (5/8) - just a normal night

Thursday (5/9) - Minas' "Symphony in Bossa" fundraiser. they'll be playing too. Come hear them, chow down, and donate to their fundraiser campaign . Special Note: We will not be doing burger bar in light of the fundraiser.

Friday (5/10) - Jazz with Chas Trio - Enjoy their music, starting around 7.

Saturday (5/11) - $20 Chef's Choice Dinner. Help us finish off whatever's left!

Sunday (5/12) - Find somewhere else to eat, we're closed. Maybe Sycamore...?
