Good Taste
For Jose Garces, the third time continues the charm. His new Distrito offers a wonderful array of modern Mexican. We're particularly taken with his seviches, especially the refreshing, complex but still light Atun (bigeye tuna, serrano-coconut sauce, lime sorbet, tomatillo and tostadita) for $10, terrific on hot summer nights.

And the huaraches, masa-flour tortillas in the shape of a sandal, are topped with an inspired melange of ingredients. Because we can't get enough crab in the summer, we're loving the the Cangrejo y Nopales - crab, cactus, tomatoes and cotija cheese - for $12. Delicioso.
