Review: It's hard to combine ice cream and cake in a dessert and expect it to survive without freezer burn. B-R's Cake Bites almost get it right. The ice cream is tasty and the chocolate coating gives a nice, sweet crunch, but the cake is blah and dry. Dump the cake, B-R, and you would have delicious bonbons. As a Valentine's Day treat, however, the Chain Gang would recommend B-R's seasonal Love Potion No. 31 - Cupid's White Chocolate and Raspberry ice creams swirled with a raspberry ribbon and loaded with raspberry-filled chocolate hearts and chocolate chips. So yummy, you might get lucky.

Even better: A 2.5-ounce scoop has only 170 calories and 9 grams of fat. Unfortunately, a scoop that size is for an amoeba.
