Red Bulls rally to tie Revolution

Caraglio scored in the 15th and 37th minutes to give New England a 2-0 lead at halftime. Richards answered in the 54th and 87th minutes to get New York the draw in Gillette Stadium.

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - Reserve Laurent Courtois scored his first goal of the year in the 86th minute as Chivas USA salvaged a tie with the Rapids.

Under-20 World Cup

Brazil 3, Portugal 2

BOGOTA, Colombia - Oscar scored a hat trick to lead Brazil to an extra-time win over Portugal to win the Under-20 World Cup.

Oscar got the winner in the 111th minute, lobbing a shot from the right that was touched by Portugal keeper Mika onto the underside of the crossbar and went in. He also scored in the fifth minute, and again in the 78th to tie the game at 2 each.

For Portugal, Alex scored in the 9th minute and Nelson Oliveira's 59th-minute goal put the Europeans ahead, but Brazil fought back to take its fifth Under-20 world title.

Mexico 3, France 1

BOGOTA, Colombia - Mexico rallied to defeat France and take third place.

Ulises Davila, Jorge Enriquez, and Edson Rivera scored unanswered goals after Alexandre Lacazette had put France ahead with a header in the eighth minute.

Davila, however, scored four minutes later, and the Mexicans controlled the game from then on.

Premier League

Liverpool's 11-year wait for an English Premier League victory at Arsenal ended on Saturday, and Chelsea fought back against West Bromwich Albion to give Andre Villas-Boas his first win in charge.

Luis Suarez and Raul Meireles came off the bench to inspire Liverpool to a 2-0 win, two late goals coming after the sending off of Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong. Aaron Ramsey inadvertently deflected in Liverpool's opener and Suarez netted the second in stoppage time.

Across London, Chelsea beat West Brom, 2-1, after Florent Malouda and Nicolas Anelka scored in the second half to wipe out Shane Long's fourth-minute goal.

In the northeast derby, Newcastle won, 1-0, at Sunderland.
