Want Philly at your fingertips? Meet The Inquirer App — your all-access pass to the stories, events, and local picks everyone’s talking about. Let’s get you set up!

HOW TO INSTALL AND LOG IN

​​Getting started is easy. Just search “Philadelphia Inquirer” in the App Store or Google Play.

Look for the “I” logo — that’s us.

Download the app, log in using the same email and password you use on Inquirer.com, and you’re in!

Are you a print subscriber but haven’t set up digital access yet? Head to Inquirer.com/activate and do that first.

NAVIGATE WITH EASE

When you open the app, your personalized news feed shows the topics you read most.

Tap an article to read it, then use the toolbar at the top to customize your experience: adjust font size, save for later, gift the article, or share it via email, social or text.

EXPERIENCE THE E-EDITION

Want the full digital newspaper experience? If you’re a Print or Premium subscriber, you have access to The Inquirer e-Edition — a digital replica of the day’s paper.

Here’s how to find your way around:

  1. On your smartphone, tap “Newspaper” at the bottom of your screen; on your tablet, it’s at the top

  2. Tap the three lines in the top left to switch editions, browse sections, or access past issues

  3. Pro tip: Tap the “Page” button in the top right to jump to a specific page

No wifi? No problem. Download the e-Edition and read it anywhere.

And just like any article in the app, every e-Edition can be printed, emailed or shared.

DISCOVER PHILLY’S BEST

Making dinner reservations? Planning your weekend? Or just curious about what’s going on in the city?

Tap “Discover” at the bottom of your screen for your guide to all things local.

You’ll be asked if you want to share your location — but it’s completely optional. The “Discover” map works either way. Sharing your location just helps our app show you nearby places and events faster.

In The 76, find nearby restaurants with filters like Soul Food, Vegetarian, and BYOB.

In Events, see what’s happening around you with maps, details, times, and prices.

Philly’s got something for everyone — now it’s easier than ever to find it.

ADD WIDGETS FOR INSTANT ACCESS

Want breaking news or sports scores without even opening the app? Add an Inquirer widget to your home screen!

Just press and hold an empty spot on your screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget. Search “Philly Inquirer,” pick your widget, and tap Add.
