Saint Joseph’s forward Dasear Haskins is entering the transfer portal, ESPN’s Jeff Borzello reported Sunday afternoon. Haskins will enter the portal with two seasons of eligibility remaining.

The Willingboro, N.J. native spent three seasons with St. Joe’s after committing from Camden High School where he he played alongside Arkansas guard D.J. Wagner and Memphis forward Aaron Bradshaw. During his final season as a Panther, Haskins averaged 10 points per game.

The 6-foot-8 Haskins redshirted his first year before finding a role in 2024-25. He appeared in all 35 games and made five starts under head coach Billy Lange. The redshirt sophomore averaged 5.7 points and 3.3 rebounds per game on a St. Joe’s team that secured a bid to the National Invitation Tournament. He was also named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team.

Haskins became a vital part of a Hawks team that finished the regular season winning 13 of their last 16 games in 2025-26. Haskins, now a full-time starter, averaged 11.1 points and led the team with 6.4 rebounds per game.

Haskins is the first Hawk to enter the portal, which officially opens up on Tuesday. St. Joe’s will also lose guard Derek Simpson and center Justice Ajogbor to graduation.
