The Eagles are adding to their wide receiver corps.

A league source confirmed an NFL Network report that the Eagles are signing Elijah Moore to a one-year contract.

Moore, who turns 26 later this week, played sparingly in nine games with the Buffalo Bills last season and had nine catches.

Perhaps most notably, Moore is close friends with A.J. Brown. They both attended Ole Miss, and Brown credited Moore in the past with helping him through some of his mental health struggles.

Moore was a 2021 second-round pick by the New York Jets, whose general manager at the time was Joe Douglas. The former Jets general manager is back with the Eagles in a personnel role.

Moore has 209 catches, 2,274 yards, and nine touchdowns in 70 games through his first five NFL seasons. He played two with the Jets, two with Cleveland, and last season with Buffalo.

It remains to be seen what Brown’s future is with the Eagles, but right now the team has Brown, DeVonta Smith, Hollywood Brown, Moore, and Darius Cooper seemingly in that order on the depth chart.
