Taylor Swift on the Eagles Christmas album? ‘Maybe in the future,’ says Jason Kelce.

The Birds have another Christmas album dropping this year, but you'll have to wait at least another year for a Taylor Swift collaboration.

The Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce romance has already been a content machine — and we don’t even cover Kansas City sports, we just happen to call Kelce’s older brother and Eagles center Jason Kelce one of our own. Swift’s regular appearances at Chiefs games even had us wondering if she’d appear alongside Travis when he joined his brother at a Phillies-Diamondbacks NLCS game last week.

She wasn’t there — although she was spotted at Sunday’s Chiefs-Chargers game celebrating alongside Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany — but it seems like every time Jason makes an appearance somewhere, his brother’s love life becomes the topic of conversation.

And for good reason. A relationship between the biggest pop star in the world and one of the biggest stars of one of the biggest sports leagues in the world? Yeah, that’s enough to break the internet, which is what Jason Kelce and the Eagles almost did last winter when they released a Christmas album, A Philly Special Christmas, featuring Kelce and linemates Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson. The album topped the Billboard charts while raising over a million dollars for local charities in the process.

The trio have another album dropping this holiday season, A Philly Special Christmas Special, and given Kelce’s apparent proximity to Swift, it’s worth wondering if she’d make an appearance on the album, a question that came up Monday when the Eagles linemen appeared on the Today show on NBC.

“Maybe. Not this one, not this time around,” Kelce told host Sheinelle Jones after she asked if Swift would be joining them on the album.

“I don’t know who that is,” Mailata joked.

“That would be pretty incredible,” added Kelce. “But maybe in the future.”

The trio also discussed covering Mariah Carey’s classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”

“It was kind of nerve-racking at first,” Mailata admitted. “Because I can’t really do the same key as the ‘Queen of the Holidays.’ I mean, she’s incredible, so we kind of had to dial it back a couple keys.”

Mailata, who was on Fox’s The Masked Singer a few years back, also said he got stage fright while performing a duet with Philly legend Patti LaBelle.

The group also recorded its first original Christmas song, which was written by Kelce and will be included on the new album.

If you want an album, be sure to grab one as soon as they go on sale next month. Last year, they sold out so quickly that they actually had multiple pressings of the vinyl album — but the later runs didn’t arrive in time for the holidays.
