Herman's Coffee

Coffee, Cafe$

This Pennsport coffeeshop and specialty market — tucked into a former auto mechanic’s shop — has made several appearances in the Inquirer’s pages in articles praising its non-alcoholic wine selection, impressive stock of tinned fish, and stylish merch by local artists (not just shirts, but ashtrays, basketballs and more). Herman’s frequently invites local chefs to man the food truck, and has recently added After Dark hours on Fridays and Saturdays featuring table service and an expanding lineup of cocktails and wines (with and without alcohol).

How we choose our best lists

The Inquirer aims to represent the geographic, cultural, and culinary diversity of the region in its coverage. Inquirer staffers and contributors do not accept free or comped meals — all meals are paid for by the Inquirer. All dining recommendations are made solely by the Inquirer editorial staffers and contributors based on their reporting and expertise, without input from advertisers or outside interests.
