Coatesville’s Maxwell Hiller, the top-ranked interior offensive lineman in 2027, commits to Florida

The 6-foot-5, 300-pound Hiller is the fourth commitment in the Gators’ 2027 recruiting class and first offensive lineman.

Coatesville High’s Maxwell Hiller, a five-star offensive lineman, will play college football at the University of Florida, he announced on Wednesday.

Hiller is the top-ranked interior offensive lineman and No. 4 player in the nation in the 2027 recruiting class, according to 247Sports.

He held more than 40 college scholarship offers, including South Carolina, Georgia, Michigan, Alabama, Ohio State, and Tennessee. The 6-foot-5, 300-pound Hiller is the fourth commitment in the Gators’ 2027 recruiting class and first offensive lineman.

Hiller was named to the Under Armour All-American second-team and received his first scholarship offer in eighth grade from Penn State.

He helped the Red Raiders to a 10-3 finish in 2025, while playing alongside linebacker Terry Wiggins, a four-star recruit who’s heading to Virginia Tech next season. Hiller plans to finish his high school career at Coatesville.
