A Temple student was chased and attacked inside Morgan Hall student residence
The Temple University student sustained minor injuries after being chased and assaulted inside Morgan Hall South student dormitory. Here's what we know.

A Temple University student was chased into the lobby of the school’s Morgan Hall student dormitory and attacked by a group of juveniles on Sunday morning, according to Temple University police.
The student, who has not been identified, was outside Morgan Hall South, located at N. Broad Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue, at around 2:50 a.m., police said, when the student was chased into the lobby by the group.
The juveniles struck the student and damaged university property, Temple police said. The student sustained minor injuries and declined medical treatment, but Temple’s Division of Student Affairs is working to support the student, according to police.
Temple University police are reviewing security video and working with the School District of Philadelphia safety officials and the Philadelphia Police Department (PPD) to identify the group involved in the alleged assault.
Temple Police shared reminders to social media that Temple offers a walking escort program, shuttle service, and additional safety features within the TUSafe app.
“Your safety is our top priority. We will continue to keep you informed as more information becomes available,” Temple police shared in a social media post.
