A classic 1980s shoe just got the Philadelphia treatment.

As an homage to one of Philly’s most beloved summer treats, Adidas released a Snipes exclusive of the Forum Low dubbed the “Water Ice” edition. The laces, stripes, suede upper, and midsole are covered in blue, green, and pink accents, and the letter “P” is marked on the bottom of the shoe.

Complete with “215 details throughout,” the exclusive kicks are designed to “capture the spirit of its ‘80s roots with an ankle strap for a casual streetwear look,” according to the shop’s website. “Few summer snacks have made as huge an impression” as Philly’s water ice.

Snipes marketing manager Ryan Cassar said the “Water Ice” sneaker is part of a larger, nationwide collection and campaign. “This is the third sneaker release dedicated to specific (cities) we service this year (March - Detroit, May - Atlanta), and we are excited to share this new colorway with Philadelphia,” Cassar wrote in an email.

The Atlanta shoes are peach, while the Detroit shoes feature the city’s area code (313) and Michigan blue and maize.

Philly’s spin on the Adidas Forum is listed at $120 a pair. They are available for in-store purchase at the Snyder, Broad Street, South Street, and Parkwest Plaza locations and elsewhere.
