An update to today's Crime Scene: Police have identified a man who was found dead in Tacony Creek Park Saturday as Fabian Johnson, 18, of Rorer Street near Bingham. Johnson was found with gunshots to his head near Whitaker Avenue and Loudon Street by a group of kids around 2 p.m., police said. While cops say they don't know when Johnson died or the motive behind his killing, they have placed the location of his death as Maple Lane near Wyoming Avenue.

Also in the DN today:

A new species of intruder could be eyeing up your house: Raccoons.

Police continue to search for 20-year-old Joseph Brock, who allegedly robbed as many as three convenience stores early yesterday morning and exchanged gunfire with cops when they tried to stop him.

Jury selection begins today in the case of Rasheed Scrugs, who stands accused of killing Ofc. John Pawlowski in February 2009.
