Reserve a table at a coffee shop?
Rally at Seventh and Bainbridge Streets allows tables to be set aside for people who need meeting and co-working space.
The Bean Exchange at Seventh and Bainbridge Streets in Bella Vista has yielded to Rally, a coffee shop that also is billed as event space.
That is, it serves the usual crowd of table-hogging coffee-sippers, but people who need space for co-working and meetings.
To that end, co-founder Meredith Waldman, an ad agency and creative services veteran who has worked with Heineken USA, Art in the Age, and Spruce Street Real Estate, can connect creative types on a per-project basis.
Rally serves Lancaster's Passenger Coffee, plus pastries and other food offerings.
Ian Chapin of Edsel, who also set up Fitler Dining Room, Pub & Kitchen, and Bud & Marilyn's, designed and built the bright, open space.
