How much is that TuB Gin in the window?

The local gin brand takes a showroom window at the old Borders store.

Empty downtown windows are a true holiday-season downer.

Ad agency Red Tettemer + Partners has taken a display window at the shuttered Borders store at Broad and Chestnut Streets to promote its TuB Gin brand.

It's created an intricate 1920s-style winter scene that calls to mind the "backstory" behind TuB.

Click through the photos. Look closely and you'll see that it's cheeky: Not only is there a tiny replica of the gin's distillery (Peach Street Distillers, based in Palisades, Colo.), but you'll see assorted vices and crimes, such as moonshining and train-robbery.
