Newly open is Smart Street Healthy Kitchen & Juice Bar – a rebranding of Jeff Tinney's Juice Healthy Kitchen in Midtown Manhattan – at 38 S. 19th St. The corner space, with a counter in the center, previously was Kaufman's Deli and a branch of Famous 4th Street Deli. It's 14 months in the making.
Menu is healthful wraps/panini, grain bowls, salads, juices, smoothies, and entrees with 99 percent of the food made in-house and most items grilled or baked. Tinney says Smart Street sources produce and proteins from local farms and seeks natural, GMO-free, and organic items when possible. Menu is here.
