Eagles cornerback Sidney Jones is inactive for Saturday's divisional round playoff game against the Atlanta Falcons after appearing on the injury report this week with a hamstring injury. Rasul Douglas is active over Jones in the secondary.

The seven inactive players for the Eagles are Jones, tackle Will Beatty, wide receiver Marcus Johnson, defensive end Steven Means, defensive tackle Elijah Qualls, running back Wendell Smallwood, and defensive tackle Destiny Vaeao.

There was question about whether Jones, the Eagles' second-round pick, would play in the postseason after joining the roster in Week 17. He was questionable for the game after he was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.

Linebacker Dannell Ellerbe is active even though he was listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. He is expected to be the team's starting middle linebacker in the base formation.

Vaeao is new to the inactive list for the first time — he had been active for the last 10 games after recovering from an early-season injury. With Vaeao inactive, the Eagles have only three defensive tackles in uniform on Saturday: Fletcher Cox, Tim Jernigan, and Beau Allen. The Eagles like to move their defensive ends inside — especially on passing downs — so Brandon Graham could see more playing time as an interior rusher against the Falcons.

Isaac Seumalo and Chance Warmack are the reserve offensive linemen. Seumalo can play tackle if one of the tackles get injured. Rookie Shelton Gibson remains the fifth receiver ahead of Johnson.
